So I am officially the worst blogger ever. For those of you who check back here regularly, I apologize. My crafting addiction, and time requirements just prevent me from updating. I always promise to be better. But then I find that it just doesn't happen. Please don't give up on me. I don't promise, but I will try to be better.
We have had such an eventful year. I feel there is so much I could update on. The girls are now 9 and 11 (almost 10 and 12 :( ). They have really grown a lot in the last year. And not only have I been a horrible blogger, but I have been an even worse photographer. I really need to get my camera out a little more often. These are about the only recent photos that I have taken of my sweet girls.

Here is Afton eating
Gołąbki.
This is a Polish dish that Josh's family has made for years. We have been doing a culture study in school this year. When we came to Poland we had to give this a shot. I thought for sure that the kids would not like it. But to my surprise they both loved it.

And here is Erin working on putting together a model of a human skeleton. We have also been doing an anatomy study for science this semester. It has been such a fun and informative study. We all have been a little more motivated to take care of our bodies since we have been learning about how they work. Although we still have not been able to work up to the eight recommended glasses of water per day.
As most of you know, we also got a new addition to our family last year around Easter.
Bijoux

She has been wonderful to have around. It has definitely been an adjustment. But she is really a very good dog. The girls love having her around and have been so responsible with her. They feed, bathe, brush, walk, and love her all the time. She is a little ball of energy, and keeps things interesting for sure.
Just the other day the girls were over at a friends house playing. So I thought that I would get some sewing done. I propped open the back door so Bijoux could come in and out as she needed. I was just sitting there sewing when all of a sudden I heard Bijoux crunching on something. I went over to where she was and she got up right away. That usually means she had something she was not suppose to have. I thought that she had a toy or something from the girls room. So I picked it up to see what it was. It was not a toy at all. It was a half chewed up bird head. I instantly chucked it back down and went to the sink to wash my hands multiple times. Then I got the Purell out and used it a few times as well. I was so utterly grossed out!!! I would not let her near me for the rest of the day. And if the girls did not love her so much I probably would have given her away. I know that was a little extreme. I have forgiven her and we are okay with each other now. But COME ON. No dead birds in the house.
But who could stay mad at this sweet face.

I guess we'll keep her.
Well I think that is about all I can do right now. Thanks for coming back and reading.
